The Balanced portfolio this year has 14 investment options more than 3X the number last year. That improvement makes the 3D scan look healthier but it is still a lifeboat portfolio with 50.8% of the plan in the stable value fund FMIP2 in the scan. The employee portfolio largest holding is also the stable value fund but they have 6.5% in company stock which increased their volatility risk with no benefit to their 5yr return.
