Unilever NV 401k Plan PSDS Scan 12-31-2009
This plan has few options but a large collection of GICs represented by the index GIC.ekx in the scan. The Balanced portfolio has 70.6% of the money in the GIC, 19.8% in PTTRX and 6.5% in company stock UN. This one of the few times the Balanced portfolio has more money in company stock than the employee portfolio at 4.4%. The employee portfolio has more money in Target Date retirement funds than mutual funds. That lowered their return a little and more than doubled their volatility risk. That risk is the focus of the TechNote posted this week. In the Unilever NV plan only 2 of the 4 Target Date retirement funds have 5yr data VTXVX and VTTVX.
