This 401k Plan has too many options that are highly correlated. That increased the STD volatility risk and the Balanced portfolio has only 2 options with over 5% of Plan. The 401k committee may want to look at the US Government 401k TSP Plan which has only 10 options including Target Date Retirement funds. That said this is a very good plan and passes the "fat tail" stress better than most.
