is small as 9/30/2008 Bear market data has a
a noticable effect on all 401k plans now.


The funds in the scan were

FMAGX, FDGRX, FBALX, FDIVX, FFFAX,
FFFFX, FSLCX, PTTRX, CFIMX, NBGEX,
DSEFX, RISIX, FSMAX

There was a GMO fund that does not have
5yr data yet and no proxy was found.

Bear market performance is just that.
Only 6 of the funds have a positive 3yr
correlation with portfolio PSR

Bear Market Comparisons Year to Date 10/15/2008

So how is my IRA doing compared to the usual indices
and to Berkshire Hathaway in this Bear Market. Not so
bad in comparison but like most other portfolios I am
down a lot more than I expected when the year began.
This Bear has turned my 401k into a 301k on paper. I
have not sold anything but I did buy a share of BRK
last Friday when it was on sale in the morning.
