This is a good 401k Plan but has way too many options in my opinion.

Popular 401k Plan Options Portfolio PSDS Scan 12-31-2014
Kiplinger published recently BrightScopes rankings of the most popular funds based on 401k Plan assets under management. This scan is for the top 7 funds with AEPGX replaced by SGENX which I have owned for many years. As you can see most 401k Plan money today is invested in well diversified and prudent options.
I did a scan with AEPGX and the changes to the Balanced portfolio were small.

Torchmark Corp. 401k Plan PSDS Scan 12-31-2014
I like this company and most of the investment options in their 401k but there are way too many options, 28. The employee portfolio has over 68% of their money in just four options; TMK, WDR, FCNTX and an annuity contract GIC in the scan.
